    Turkey marks its highest-ever monthly exports figure in September

    (MENAFN) According to the Turkish trade minister, Turkey posted its highest-ever monthly exports value in September with USD20.8 billion, increasing 30 percent annual.

    Mehmet Mus was quoted as saying citing preliminary foreign trade figures that "For the first time in our republic's history, we've exceeded the threshold level of $20 billion on a monthly basis."

    He further declared that Turkey also accomplished its 12-month rolling exports target for the current year in the January-September period of the year, standing at USD212.2 billion.

    Mus also stated that the export target for 2021 stands at USD211 billion, as deliberated in Turkey's new economic program announced by the government.
