    Turkey’s benchmark stock index ends Monday at 1,394.37 points

    (MENAFN)On Monday, Turkey’s benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,394.37 points, dropped 0.51 percent from the last close.

    Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index decreased 7.09 points from Friday’s close of 1,401.46 points, after opening the day at 1,402.73 points.

    During the day, the index’s lowest value stood at 1,394.37 points, as its daily high reached 1,407.84 points.

    The total market rate of the BIST 100 stood at 1.1 trillion Turkish liras (USD124 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of more than 12.24 billion Turkish liras (USD1.38 billion).

    In comparison to Friday’s close, a total of 33 stocks on the index increased, 56 dropped, and 11 remained unchanged.
