    Turkey’s benchmark stock index ends Friday at 1,398.00 points

    (MENAFN)On Friday, Turkey’s benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,398.00 points, increased 0.08 percent from the preceding close.

    Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index increased 1.08 points from Thursday's close of 1,396.92 points, after opening the day at 1,398.04 points.

    During the day, the index’s lowest value stood at 1,393.56 points, as its daily high reached 1,404.60 points.

    The total market rate of the BIST 100 stood at almost 1.1 trillion Turkish liras (USD124 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of almost 14.3 billion Turkish liras (USD1.6 billion).

    A total of 44 stocks on the index increased, 44 dropped, and 12 remained unchanged in
    comparison to Thursday's close.
