    Turkey's automotive production reaches 921,619 units in 1st 9 months of 2021

    (MENAFN)According to an association report, Turkey's automotive production, including light commercial vehicles, tractors, and automobiles, stood at 921,619 units in January-September period of 2021.

    The Automotive Manufacturers Association declared that the number of the stated period increased 8 percent in comparison to the previous year same time span.

    passenger car production marked a drop of 1 percent to reach 571,108 units in the mentioned period.

    The capacity utilization rate in the sector amounted at 63 percent in the first nine months.

    The auto market, including light trucks and other vehicles, increased 15 percent in comparison to the previous year same time span, standing at 582,083 units in the same time.
