    Saudi non-oil exports increase 37 percent to mark USD33.4B

    (MENAFN) According to SPA, Saudi non-oil exports increased 37 percent to a mark SR125.3 billion (USD33.4 billion) in the January-June period of the current year.

    Non-oil exports stood at SR91.7 billion in the previous year same time span.

    They rose by 8 percent in quantity, equal to 34.7 million tons, suggesting a recover in prices as rates returned to normal.

    In the previous year, global trade went down as the pandemic imposed much of the world into lockdown. Though, trade has recovered strongly in the current year and last week the WTO altered its estimation for global merchandise trade rate valued at 10.8 percent in 2021 and 4.7 percent in 2022.
