Turkish manufacturing PMI reaches 52.1 towards last year’s end

(MENAFN) Based on Turkish figures published on Monday, the country’s Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) for the manufacturing industry amounted at 52.1 towards the end of last year.

According to a periodic report by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry and London-based international data company IHS Markit, production PMI soared higher than the initial record for the seventh consecutive month during last month, climbing a tad from November.

The reported stated that providing job opportunities was one of the reasons for the most recent development in business situations.

It also mentioned, “employment rose for the 19th successive month, and at a solid pace that was the fastest since August.”
