Iran exports of pistachio worth more than USD783M
(MENAFN) According to the spokesperson of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the country exported 111,122 tons of valued at USD738,456,417 throughout the period from March 21 till December 21, 2021 of the present Iranian calendar year.
According to IRNA, Rouhollah Latifi stated that the country’s pistachio was exported to 70 diverse nations in the stated time span of nine months.
China was the first export location for Iran’s pistachio for importing 32,713 tons of pistachio worth USD188.785 million, followed by India, Russia, Iraq, as well as Kazakhstan, importing 10,859 tons, 6,710 tons, 6,233 tons, and 6,150 tons of pistachio, in that order.
Based on Latifi, of the overall exported pistachio, 13,745 tons valued at more than USD152.393 were pistachio seed which were sent to 54 diverse nations involving India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iraq, Germany, and Turkey.
