    Tehran, Moscow to sign trade deal worth USD10B

    (MENAFN) Based on IRNA, according to Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi statement on Friday, the Islamic Republic along with Russia have made decision to sign a deal to enhance the trade between both nations which totals to USD10 billion.

    Raisi stated once her arrived to Iran’s capital after a two-day trip to Moscow, “we agreed to remove trade barriers and boost the economic exchanges between the two countries. Currently, the level of mutual trade is not acceptable, so the two countries agreed to increase trade to USD10 billion a year.”

    The president also expressed that both parts have also talked about monetary and banking matters in his discussions with Russian representatives.

    Raisi highlighted, “the two countries can take steps to break the dominance of the dollar over monetary and banking relations and trade with the national currency."
