    Predictions for Iran’s non-oil exports to hit USD45B

    (MENAFN) According to IRIB, Head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Alireza Peyman-Pak has stated the Iran’s non-oil exports worth is predicted to hit USD45 billion during the present Iranian calendar year (ends on March 20).

    Peyman-Pak stressed while talking in a press conference on Sunday, the understanding of the Industry, Mining, and Trade Ministry’s aim for raising the nation’s non-oil exports by USD5 billion in the second two quarters of the present Iranian calendar year (September 23, 2021-March 20, 2022) and highlighted that the said goal has been grasped sooner than planned.

    Based on the official, Industry Ministry has set a goal of yet another USD5 billion raise for the nation’s non-oil exports during the upcoming Iranian calendar year.

    He further mentioned, “we plan to increase the total value of non-oil exports to USD50 billion [in the next year], however, this amount is also not proportional with the country's export capacities and we will continue to work to increase the figure.”
