    Saudi’s main stock opens trading week with high figures

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s major stock index TASI opened the trading week on a high note as it registered a surge in a few of its main stocks and stockholders got ready for more profits announcements.

    On 10:25 a.m. Saudi time, TASI went up by 0.4 percent to hit 12,229 points, while the corresponding market Nomu exchanged 0.28 percent less at 25,588 points.

    The country’s oil giant Aramco jumped up 0.95 percent amidst exchanging of more than 1.2 million stocks, and one of its main petrochemical firms, Saudi Basic Industries Corp. or SABIC, climbed 0.97 percent.

    This was additionally maintained by a 0.54 percent raise in the stock cost of Al Rajhi Bank, Saudi Arabia’s biggest esteemed bank.
