    Turkish BIST ends Tuesday’s trading session with high figures

    (MENAFN) The Turkish major stock index closed Tuesday’s session at 2,015.43 points, increasing by 0.61 percent from the last ending.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index opened the day at 2,013.97 points, it increased by 12.23 points from Monday's ending of 2,003.20 points. The lowest index worth throughout the day stood at 2,008.69 points, whereas its highest value amounted at 2,034.85.

    The overall market worth of the BIST 100 was over 1.6 trillion Turkish liras (USD120 billion) by market end, with an everyday exchanging volume of more than 24.5 billion Turkish liras (USD1.8 billion).

    In the second trading day of the week, 66 stocks on the index jumped, 28 dropped, and six stayed at the same value in comparison to Monday's ending.
