    Bahrain to give new long term visa to enhance its economy

    (MENAFN) On Monday Bahrain's Cabinet gave their approval to a new visa that would permit long term citizenship to particular non-nationals as the nation aims to draw talent and grow its economy.

    According to Bahrain News Agency, the Golden Residency Visa is part of the nation's economic rebound scheme and was agreed on after a memorandum given by the Minister of Interior. Furthermore, it did not give any information regarding the standards for eligibility.

    The agency stated that the visa is going to raise "the competitiveness of the Kingdom of Bahrain, supporting development paths across various economic, investment and service sectors, attracting talent and opening the opportunity to obtain and benefit from permanent residency in the Kingdom of Bahrain".
