    Turkish standard stock index ends Wednesday with high numbers

    (MENAFN) The Turkish major stock index ended Wednesday’s session with high figures, increasing 1.78 percent to hit 2,042.85 points.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index opened the day at 2,022.53 points, and the stock index soared 35.71 points from Tuesday's ending of 2,007.14 points.

    Based on data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets, one ounce of gold exchanged for USD1,832.60 by market end, increasing from USD1,815.00 at the previous ending.

    Price of Brent crude oil stood at about USD91.19 for each barrel on 6.05 p.m. domestic time (1505GMT) on Wednesday, with a daily scale of USD90.05 to USD91.36.
