    Turkey’s consumer confidence plummets in Feb.

    (MENAFN) According to the most recent figures announced by Turkey on Friday, the country’s consumer confidence registered a drop in February.

    Based on data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), the consumer confidence index tanked to 71.2 this month from 73.2 in January.

    The index is a fundamental measure of the entire economy, demonstrating individual’s views on financial strength and the overall economic situation, together with expenses as well as saving tendencies.

    All sub-indices dropped the current month, with the largest fall registered in the financial situation prediction of residences for the upcoming 12 months, which tumbled by 4.2 percent to 68.3.
