    Steel exports of Iran surge by 11 percent in 10 months

    (MENAFN) Iran exported more than 6.049 million tons of steel in the period from March 21, 2021 till January 20, 2022 of the present Iranian calendar year, which was higher by 11 percent than the number of the corresponding time span of the previous year.

    Khouzestan Steel Company registered the highest performance via exporting 1.51 million tons of steel during the mentioned time frame, pursued by by Mobarakeh Steel Company along with Esfahan Steel Company by exporting 980,758 tons and 937,906 tons, in that order.

    Slab manufactured by Sirjan Jahan Steel Company posted the highest export increase in the stated time span, as the export of item soared 150 percent. As stated, steel export plummeted 10 percent during the mentioned time period of this year from that of the past year.
