    Iran’s trade with EU soar by 9 percent

    (MENAFN) Iran and the European Union trade worth hit €4.863 billion (USD5.50 billion) in 2021, recording a nine-percent increase in comparison to the past year.

    Based on Tasnim news agency report referring to the data published by the European Union's statistics office Eurostat, the trade between Iran and the European Union two years ago amounted at €4.458 billion (USD5.04 billion).

    Iran exported goods valued at €922 million (USD1.04 million) to the bloc throughout 2021 to record a 29-percent surge on an annual basis.

    According to the stated data, the exports from Europe to the Islamic Republic during the mentioned year also surged by five percent, amounting at €3.941 billion (USD4.45 billion).
