    Iran’s trade with ECO soars to more than 41 percent

    (MENAFN) According to the spokesperson of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) statement, Iran’s exchange with the affiliates of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) surpassed USD13.11 billion during the period from March 21, 2021 till January 20, 2022 of the present Iranian calendar year to record a 41 percent rise on an annual basis.

    Based on IRNA report quoting Ruhollah Latifi, the trade with the stated nations also surged by 25 percent regarding weight when compared to the number for past year’s corresponding time period.

    As stated, throughout the mentioned time frame, Iran exchanged more than 24,758,827 tons of goods valued at USD13,110,812,971 with ECO member nations involving Turkey, Afghanistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, as well as Uzbekistan.
