    EBRD supplies Egypt with fund of USD5.5B

    (MENAFN) The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, also referred to as EBRD, has given €4.9 billion (USD5.5 billion) in growth finances to the governmental and private fields in Egypt throughout the time frame from 2017 to 2022.

    At the moment, the bank is in the course of approving a mutual nation policy with Egypt for the time span from 2022 to 2027.

    The Ministry of International Cooperation disclosed the outcomes of the past nation policy for the time frame from 2017 to 2022 amidst its operations with the bank to boost expansion efforts in four sectors.

    The EBRD since its start in 2012, has invested over €8.7 billion (USD11.8 billion) in Egypt, aiding the employment of 145 schemes, with more than 76 percent for the private sector.
