    Turkey’s major stock index remains at same value for Wed.

    (MENAFN) The Turkish major stock index ended Wednesday’s session with the same value, dropping by 0.07 percent to 2,016.13 points.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index opened the day at 2,034.41 points, the index dropped 1.33 points from Tuesday's ending of 2,017.46 points.

    Throughout Wednesday's exchanging, the BIST 100 soared between 2,016.03 points and 2,043.39 points, 25 stocks on the index jumped, 71 dropped, and four remained at the same value in comparison to the last ending.

    Ending the day with a market worth of about 1.6 trillion Turkish liras (USD116.2 billion), the major stock index registered an everyday exchanging volume of 27 billion Turkish liras (USD2 billion).
