    Finland aims to use Iran’s harbor for trade

    (MENAFN) The envoy of the Republic of Finland to Tehran Kari Kahiluoto went on a trip to Iran’s Chabahar harbor in Southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan Province to discover ways of joint collaboration in the future.

    As stated by the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO), throughout this trip Kahiluoto has voiced his nation’s readiness for giving technical aid to this harbor as well as using the harbor’s capacities for linking to East Asian nations.

    According to the envoy’s statement, “Chabahar port is seeking superior technology, and Finland, as a provider of such technology, welcomes the provision of services to the port of Chabahar.”

    Kahiluoto mentioned, “the harbor of Chabahar is important for Finland in terms of providing humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and relations with Asian countries.”
