    Expectations for Turkey’s inflation to increase by 4.14 percent

    (MENAFN) Based on a survey released on Tuesday by a news agency, Turkey’s yearly inflation rate in February is estimated to have surged to 4.14 percent.

    The Turkish Statistical Institute is going to declare the February consumer prices index as of Feb. 3.

    A group of 23 economists surveyed by the news agency predict that the monthly inflation for February stood at around 4.14 percent, varying between 3.09 percent and 7.5 percent.

    The nation's monthly inflation rate in January stood at 11.10 percent. In contrast, economists' year-end inflation predictions plummeted from 38.12 percent to 38.05 percent. The nation's yearly inflation ration in January hit its top level since April 2002.
