    Turkish exports register high record in of USD20B Feb.

    (MENAFN) According to the Turkish trade minister announcement on Wednesday, Turkey’s exports amounted at USD20 billion the previous month, reaching a record high for the month of February.

    According to Mehmet Mus statement to a news conference in the Turkish capital, the nation's exports soared 25.4 percent on an annual basis in February, whereas the overseas transaction volume surged 36.4 percent toUSD48.1 billion in the corresponding time span.

    Amidst hash winter circumstances and rising international energy costs, imports went up 45.6 percent to USD28.2 billion in February, with energy imports coimprising of USD8 billion, as the minister explained.

    The international transaction balance was minus USD8 billion in February, jumping from below USD3.3 billion in February of last year.
