    Iran to construct 10m new residential units

    (MENAFN) According to the Iranian Transport and Urban Development Minister Rostam Qasemi statement: “According to initial estimates, we need about 10 million new housing units in the country.”

    The minister referred to the land deficiency issue in the provinces of the nation to construct residential units and stated: "We are trying to solve this problem through taking some serious action."

    Qasemi stated that the main difficulty of residential construction is land restraints and mentioned: "Based on the planning, we will build four million units within four years, and according to the slogan of the year, we will use knowledge-based technology in parts, materials and type of construction."
