    Iran’s Ilam province exports rise by 116 percent annually

    (MENAFN) According to an Iranian provincial official announcement, the exports worth from Ilam province increased 116 percent during the previous Iranian calendar year 1400 (ended on March 20), in comparison to its prior year.

    Based on Ruhollah Gholami, the director-general of the province’s customs department statement, 2.27 million tons of goods valued at more than USD1b were exported from the mentioned region during last year, demonstrating also 121 percent rise regarding weight on a yearly basis.

    The official mentioned agricultural products, stones, ceramics, metal products, petrochemicals, iron ore, cement clinker, plastic products, glass, vehicles, as well as car parts as the major exported goods during the previous year.
