    Turkey’s vehicle production exceeds 106k cars in March

    (MENAFN) Based on data released by Turkey on Monday, vehicle manufacturers in the country produced 106,575 cars in March, involving cars as well as commercial vehicles.

    Based on a report by the Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD), output tumbled by 13.7 percent on a yearly basis in March. Around 79,000, or 74 percent, of all cars produced were exported -- a 17.5 percent drop from March 2021.

    The country manufactured over USD2.7 billion from cars exports the previous month, dropping from USD2.9 billion in the corresponding month of the past year.

    According to the report, the Turkish total auto sales market plummeted by 31.8 percent on a yearly basis to 68.245 units over March of this year.
