    Iran takes 7th rank globally as for lowest overseas debt to GDP

    (MENAFN) According to IRNA statement on Wednesday, referring to reputable global sources, Iran took the seventh rank in the world regarding the lowest overseas debt to gross domestic product (GDP) ratio.

    As stated, Brunei, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Turkmenistan, New Caledonia, Nigeria, Iran, Algeria, Greenland, as well as the Virgin Islands top 10 nations with the lowest overseas debt to GDP ratio in the globe, in that order.

    Based on the most recent statistics announced by global units, Iran's overseas debt at present amounts at around USD7.12 billion, which means the per capita stake of each Iranian is USD90. The ratio of the country’s overseas debt to its GDP is only two percent.
