    Turkish main stock index reaches all-time high record ending on Monday

    (MENAFN) The Turkish major stock index closed Monday’s session with increases of 0.64 percent to reach an all-time high record ending of 2,510.31 points.

    The BIST 100 index after opening the day at 2,502.97 points, the main stock index jumped 15.94 points from Friday's ending of 2,494.37 points.

    Ending the day with a market worth of nearly 2 trillion Turkish liras (around USD140 billion), the major stock index registered an everyday exchanging volume of 47 billion Turkish liras (USD3.2 billion).

    Throughout Monday's exchanging, the BIST 100 soared between 2,490.57 and 2,515.35 points – 68 stocks on the index climbed, 32 plummeted, and the remaining stocks were at the same value in comparison to the last ending.
