    Iran’s yearly trade from Chabahar harbor post increase of 3.5 folds

    (MENAFN) According to an Iranian provincial official announcement, export from Chabahar port, located in the southeast of Iran, jumped by 3.5 folds during the last Iranian calendar year 1400 (ended on March 20), in comparison to its prior year.

    Behrooz Aqaei, the director-general of Sistan-Baluchestan province, where the harbor is located, also stated that rising traffic of vessels and goods in the harbor is on the program of his department’s activity during the present year.

    As Iran's sole sea harbor on the Gulf of Oman, Chabahar harbor has a huge importance for the nation politically as well as economically. The nation has taken critical procedures for evolving this harbor so as to advance the nation’s maritime exchange.
