    Monthly output by main carmaker tips over 45,000

    (MENAFN) Three main Iranian carmakers, namely Iran Khodro Company (IKCO), SAIPA Group, plus Pars Khodro, manufactured 45,396 automobiles throughout the first month of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-April 20), as shown by the data issued by the Codal website.

    In line with the figures, the output by the stated firms has dropped 29.3 percent in contrast with the same month 2021 in which the production reached 64,279, IRNA reported.

    During the mentioned month, IKCO manufactured 25,041 automobiles, which stood at 25.9 percent lower than the production in the same time of 2021.

    Throughout this period, this manufacturing group was able to produce 17,368 automobiles in the Peugeot group, 3,188 automobiles in the Samand group, 1,698 Dena automobiles, 722 Rana automobiles, 534 Haima automobiles, as well as 477 Tara automobiles.
