    TEDPIX soars 9,000 points on Sun.

    (MENAFN) On Sunday, TEDPIX, the benchmark index of Tehran share Exchange (TSE), increased 9,150 points to 1.552 million.

    In line with the reports, more than 11.411 billion securities valued 59.384 trillion rials (nearly USD212.8 million) were exchanged at the TSE.

    The first market’s index increased 7,977 points, and the second market’s index rose 14,481 points.
    TEDPIX increased 145,000 points (10.5 percent) in the previous Iranian month Farvardin, the first month of the Iranian calendar year (March 21-April 20).

    Chief of Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) Majid Eshqi has stated that 25 new main firms are prepared to propose their shares at the nation’s share exchange.

    Eshqi stated to IRNA that, “many initial public offerings (IPOs) are going to be made in the near future, and now about 25 companies are ready to enter the market.”
