    Forecaster: Iran’s market index can grow 30 percent by March 2023

    (MENAFN) A market forecaster supposes that the Iranian share exchange market can increase by 30 percent within the end of the present Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2023).

    In a meeting with IRNA, Ahmad Eshtiaqi pointed to the expansion of the stock market index and the aspects impacting it and stated: “It seems that the shares of companies still have room for growth and according to the forecasts, the stock market can grow by about 30 percent by the end of the year, but this growth will be gradual and slow.”

    The forecaster pointed that the stockholders’ interest in the capital market over the last few years has been because of the worth of firms' share, so when the stocks still have possibility to expand, the market index is going to expand as well.

    The capital market specialist added mentioning additional aspect effecting the growth of the share market index and went further more: "World prices rose sharply after the Russia and Ukraine war and oil prices reached more than $100, and this has affected the performance of some companies to some extent."
