    TEDPIX records 25,000 points increase on Wednesday

    (MENAFN) TEDPIX, the benchmark index of Tehran share Exchange (TSE), increased 24,981 points to 1.564 million on Wednesday.

    As stated in a report, more than 11.362 billion securities valued at 65.203 trillion rials (nearly USD233.7 million) were exchanged at the TSE.

    The first market’s index increased 21,371 points, and the second market’s index surged 40,526 points.

    Chief of Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) Majid Eshqi has stated that 25 new main firms are set to bid their stocks at the nation’s share exchange.

    On April 24, Eshqi stated to IRNA “Many initial public offerings (IPOs) are going to be made in the near future, and now about 25 companies are ready to enter the market.”
