TEDPIX increases around 14,000 points yesterday
(MENAFN) On Saturday, TEDPIX, the benchmark index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), increased 13,961 points to 1.578 million.
More than 12.828 billion securities valued at 75.4 trillion rials (nearly USD251.3 million) were exchanged at the TSE.
The first market’s index increased 10,283 points, and the second market’s index surged 27,935 points.
As recorded on the website of TSE, 58.919 billion securities valued at 351.381 trillion rials (around USD1.171 billion) were exchanged at the exchange during the last Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday, May 13).
As stated in a report, 27.161 billion securities valued at 178.394 trillion rials (nearly USD594.646 million) had been exchanged at the TSE, which is Iran’s main share exchange, throughout the week ended on May 6.
On March 12, Majid Eshqi stated to the press that “Considering the general provisions approved in this year's budget bill we expect that companies will have good capital increase and take positive development measures, and it will be easier for investors to make decisions.”
