    TEDPIX publishes 5400 points decline on Sunday

    (MENAFN) On Sunday, TEDPIX, the benchmark index of Tehran share Exchange (TSE), decreased 5,431 points to 1.572 million.
    More than 12.511 billion securities valued 75.286 trillion rials (nearly USD250.95 million) were exchanged at the TSE.
    The first market’s index dropped 5,443 points, and the second market’s index declined 6,403 points.
    As recorded on the website of TSE, 58.919 billion securities valued 351.381 trillion rials (nearly USD1.171 billion) were sold at the exchange throughout the last Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday, May 13).
    As stated in a report, 27.161 billion securities valued 178.394 trillion rials (nearly USD594.646 million) had been exchanged at the TSE, which is Iran’s main stock exchange, through the week ended on May 6.
