    Turkey, Uganda meet to increase exchange volume between nations

    (MENAFN) A senior Turkish authorized has pursued to surge exchange capacity with the landlocked East African nation of Uganda.

    In an exclusive meeting with the Anadolu Agency on the sidelines of the Uganda-Turkey Investment Conference in the Ugandan capital of Kampala, Turkish Deputy Trade Minister Riza Tuna Turagay stated that there is plenty of opportunity to raise exchange with Uganda.

    Turagay stated that "Turkey’s total exports currently exceed USD225 billion and our target for this year is to reach USD250 billion and the foreign trade volume stands at USD496 billion.”

    The conference, co-prearranged by the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK), was also joined by Ugandan Leader Yoweri Museveni.
