    Turkey’s automotive output shrunk 9 percent in first four months

    (MENAFN) On Monday, as shown by official data released Turkey’s automotive output shrunk by 9 percent in the first four months of the year, whereas automobile output declined by 20 percent annually.

    The nation's Automotive Producers Association stated that entire automotive manufacture stood at 409,903 units in the January-April period, as well as 229,200 units of automobiles.

    The automotive trades also declined by 18 percent throughout the same months in the nation to stand at 222,574 units, although car sales declined by 21 percent to 162,398 units.

    Commercial vehicle output fell by 11 percent annually in the first four months, whereas trades were decreased by 9 percent throughout the same period.
