    TEDPIX jumps 10,000 points yesterday

    (MENAFN) TEDPIX, the benchmark index of Tehran share Exchange (TSE), increased 10,820 points to 1.583 million on Monday.

    More than 12.202 billion securities valued at 66.294 trillion rials (around USD220.98 million) were exchanged at the TSE.

    The first market’s index increased 11,972 points, and the second market’s index rose 9,272 points.

    As recorded on the website of TSE, 58.919 billion securities valued at 351.381 trillion rials (nearly USD1.171 billion) were exchanged at the exchange throughout the last Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday, May 13).

    As mentioned in reports, 27.161 billion securities valued at 178.394 trillion rials (nearly USD594.646 million) had been exchanged at the TSE, which is Iran’s main share trading, throughout the week ended on May 6.
