    Production of washing machines in Iran increases 20 percent in one year

    (MENAFN) As shown by the information issued by Industry, Mining and Trade Ministry, production of washing machines in Iran rose 20 percent throughout the last Iranian calendar year 1400 (ended on March 20), from its year before.

    The ministry’s statistics display that 1.456 million washing machines were produced in 1400, whereas the number was 1,213,600 in 1399.

    Manufacturing of home equipment in Iran increased 7.56 percent throughout the last year from its previous year.

    In line with the industry ministry’s data, more than 6,273,600 sets of big home equipment, such as TV sets, refrigerators as well as freezers, washing machines, in addition to air coolers were produced in 1400, whereas the number was 5,832,400 in 1399.
