    Manufacture by main automakers rises in March-May

    (MENAFN) Three main Iranian carmakers, specifically Iran Khodro Company (IKCO), SAIPA Group, and Pars Khodro, produced 122,317 cars in the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-May 21), which was 3.1 percent over the number for the first two months of 2021, that was 118,596 cars, in accord with the information issued by the Codal website.

    The Codal’s information put the monthly car producing at 78,721 in February 2022.

    In the mentioned two months, IKCO produced 65,847 cars, which was 21.3 percent more than the production in the same said period of 2021.

    In this period, this manufacturing group could manufacture 40,608 cars in the Peugeot group, 11,446 cars in the Samand group, 6,001 Dena cars, 4,476 Rana cars, 1,745 Haima cars, and 1,561 Tara cars.
