    Iran-Nigeria 6th bilateral Economic Committee conference takes place in Tehran

    (MENAFN) The sixth conference of the Iran-Nigeria bilateral Economic Committee is taking place in Tehran starting June 6 till 9, throughout which senior officials of the two nations are planned to ink several financial and exchange contracts.

    IRIB mentioned in a report that a high-ranking representative from Nigeria, directed by the nation’s Foreign Minister Zubairu Dada, has moved to Tehran to attend in this event which is held after a seven-year stop.

    With a population of over 220 million, Nigeria is the most crowded nation in Africa.

    The nation’s gross national output surpassed USD430 billion last year, making it Africa's biggest economy.
