    Bahrain registered firms witness increase in revenue up to 62.4 percent

    (MENAFN) Bahrain registered firms witnessed their net income jump by 62.4 percent annually throughout the January-March period of 2022 to USD922.5 million after key sectors recorded a surge in gains during the period.

    Experts by Kuwait-based Kamco Invest presents that the materials area recorded the biggest net income throughout Q1-2022 at USD389.3m as contrasted to USD138.4m same period last year.

    Alba, which is the only component of the area, credited its performance to higher LME costs which partially counterbalance lower trades volumes.

    In the banking area, Al Baraka Banking Group and Ahli United Bank recorded the biggest rises in total net revenues throughout Q1-2022 pushing up the overall net profits of the sector which saw a 15.5 percent total rise to amount to USD384.5m.
