    Iran seeks to apply joint exchange with African nations

    (MENAFN) The TPO portal mentioned in reports that Iranian Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) deputy chief for export markets development has stated that his association is seeking methods to apply joint exchange mechanisms with the nation’s African exchange associates.

    Ahmad-Reza Alaei Tabatabaei stated that “Given the implementation of barter trade mechanism by the Trade Promotion Organization with several countries, we hope to benefit from this platform with African trade partners as well.”

    The official mentioned that the TPO has arranged a list of 1,100 commodity items that can be contained in the joint exchange with African nations.

    Referring to the TPO strategies to extend exchange with Africa, Tabatabaei declared the development of export arrangement and consolidation of the attendance of Iranian commercial attachés in the stated continent.
