    Saudi Arabia registers 101 investment agreements valued at USD4B in Q1

    (MENAFN) The Ministry of Investment stated that Saudi Arabia registered 101 investment agreements valued at over USD4 billion in the January-March period of 2022, indicating the “competitiveness” of the kingdom's economy.

    The agreements are anticipated to establish over 5,800 new jobs in the local economy as the nation targets to introduce additional investment chances in numerous areas, the ministry stated in its Investment Highlights report.

    Khalid Al Falih, the nation’s Minister of Investment stated that “The high level of investor interest and strong momentum in the economy reflects how successful Saudi Arabia’s long-term economic vision has been in unlocking opportunities for investors.”

    Mr. Al Falih also stated that “As we look ahead, the National Investment Strategy will help us to accelerate this process — enabling Saudi and international investors to play a major role in one of the world’s most unique and exciting opportunities.”
