    Iran, Oman exchange reaches USD1.3B last year

    (MENAFN) Chief of Iran-Oman Mutual Chamber of Commerce stated that the exchange among the two nations is estimated to amount to USD2 billion by the end of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2023).

    “Considering the upward trend of trade with this country [Oman], it is predicted that by the end of the year, we will record 1.2 billion exports and USD2 billion of trade,” Mohsen Zarabi stated in the yearly ordinary general gathering of the stated chamber that took place at the of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) on Wednesday.

    Zarabi stated that Past year, the exchange among the two nations amounted to USD1.336 billion, signifying an expansion of 57 percent against the prior year.

    He stated that in the opening two months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-May 21), exports to Oman amounted to USD283 million with an increase of 28 percent, indicating that the number in the import area rose by 187 percent to USD128 million dollars.
