    OPEC: Iranian heavy crude oil rate increases 8.7 percent last month

    (MENAFN) Iranian heavy oil cost rose USD9.2 last month to record a 8.7 percent increase against April, in line with OPEC’s most recent month-to-month report issued on Tuesday.

    Iranian heavy crude oil rate continued its rising trend for the seventh month in a row to amount to USD115.48 a barrel in the stated month, in comparison to April’s USD106.28 a barrel.

    In line with the report, the nation’s average heavy crude rate stood at USD102.92 from the start of this year increasing to the report’s issuing that day, versus USD61.94 in the previous year’s same span of time.

    The report placed Iranian crude production for last month at 2.544 million barrels per day signifying a 20,000-bpd decline in contrast to the number for the month before.
