    Iran-Turkey January-April exchange surges 38 percent

    (MENAFN) The worth of Iran’s export to Turkey increased 60 percent in the January-April period of this year, in comparison to the same four months of last year, as shown by the data issued by Turkish Statistical Institute.

    The presented data indicated that Iran has exported commodities valued at USD1.231 billion to its neighbor in the stated period.

    Iran-Turkey January-April exchange also rose 38 percent to reach USD2.175 billion, while the number stood at USD1.574 billion in the same time span of last year.

    In the meantime, Turkey’s export to Iran increased 18 percent to reach USD944 million in the January-April period of 2022, while the number stood at USD799 million in the same 4 months in 2021.

    The worth of exchange among the two nations has surged 53 percent to USD5.594 billion last year.
