    Turkish vice leader visits Turkish firm in northwestern Algeria

    (MENAFN) Turkey’s vice leader encountered Turkish labors at an iron and steel industry production facility of a Turkish firm in northwestern Algeria.

    Fuat Oktay payed a trip to the firm in the port city of Oran and stated that Turkey and Algeria have 50 years of historical relations and his nation attaches the highest importance to ties with friendly and brotherly Algeria.

    He stated that Turkey’s ties with Algeria are crucial, not only for the two nations but for the peace, solidity as well as wealth of the district.

    Oktay mentioned that collaboration among business people of the two nations is vital for the continuation of the momentum in joint ties.

    Oktay stated that by the end of last year, the capital spot of Turkish firms abroad has amounted to USD46.5 billion, further stating that the share in North African nations is 4.1 percent.

    Turkish investments in Algeria have totaled USD5 billion and they remain to raise, Oktay also stated.
