Turkish enterprises trade outputs valued at USD471B last year
(MENAFN) On Wednesday, official figures showed that Turkish enterprises traded industrial outputs valued at 4.2 trillion Turkish liras (USD471 billion) both in the nation and overseas last year.
As stated by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) two years ago, the number stood at 2.5 trillion Turkish liras (USD356 billion).
The average USD/TRY exchange price stood at 8.9 and 7.02 in 2021 and 2020, individually.
Basic metal outputs had the biggest stake between sub-items in 2021 with 14.2 percent, trailed by food outputs (12.4 percent) as well as textile (8.4 percent).
Between technology outputs, high technology products' share was 3 percent last year, low and medium-low technology outputs matched to 71.3 percent and medium-high technology products accounted for 25.6 percent.
When industrial products were categorized by Main Industrial Groupings, intermediate goods' stake reached 50.3 percent, whereas consumer non-durables as well as energy's share were 21.4 percent and 5.6 percent, individually.
