    Iran’s non-oil exchange rises 3pct month-on-month

    (MENAFN) the repetitive of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) declared that the worth of Iran’s non-oil exchanged rose 3 percent in the third Iranian calendar month Khordad (ended on March 21), in comparison to the same month of the last year.

    Ruhollah Latifi put the nation’s non-oil exchange at 13.622 million tons valued at USD8.9 billion in the third month, and stated that with the nation's exports being over imports in that month, an up exchange balance of USD204 million was reached.

    The representative stated, that put the month-on-month non-oil export at 10.65 million tons valued at USD4.553 billion, and that of import at 2.972 million tons worth USD4.349 billion.

    As earlier declared by the IRICA chief, the amount of Iran’s non-oil exports amounted to USD13.69 billion in the first quarter of the ongoing Iranian calendar year, increasing 21 percent against the last year’s same quarter.

    Alireza Moghadasi stated that Iran shipped 27.7 million tons of non-oil commodities in the declared three months.
