    TCCIMA Chief: Iranian economy deals with 4 main challenges

    (MENAFN) Chief of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA) Masoud Khansari has stated that bearing in mind the ongoing worldwide financial condition, the Iranian economy is dealing with four main challenges which are inflation, water crisis as well as food supply, financial turmoil in the banking system, and shortage of sufficient care to non-oil exports.

    Khansari mentioned in an article he wrote that was issued on the TCCIMA portal on Saturday “The world has been facing complex issues in the past few months. The conflict with the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the increase in the price and shortage of food (especially basic goods such as wheat, corn, oil, etc.), the jump in energy prices, the acceleration of climate change, and the spread of droughts are among these challenges. In our country, however, in addition to the above-mentioned issues, sanctions and economic mismanagement have also been the cause.”
